PRIVACY POLICY

UpGrowth HR Sdn Bhd (known as “UpGrowth”) respects your fundamental right to privacy and we are committed to handling any personal data given to us in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (known as “PDPA”).

SCOPE OF THE ACT

PDPA primarily aims to regulate the collection, holding, processing and use of Personal Data in commercial transactions and also to prevent malicious use of personal information. This Act plays a crucial role in safeguarding the interest of individuals and makes it illegal for anyone, be it corporate entities or individuals, to sell personal information or allow such use of the data by third parties.

The Personal Data which UpGrowth may collect includes but is not limited to the following:

We are required under PDPA to protect and safeguard your Personal Data by taking practical steps to implement security measures thereto, i.e. to protect your Personal Data from any loss, misuse, modification, unauthorized or accidental access or disclosure, alteration or destruction.

We have implemented appropriate technical and organizational security measures/safeguards designed to protect the security of any personal information we process. We take steps in restricting access to our databases containing Personal Data to authorized officers having the justified need to access such information. Officers who need to have access to Personal Data are required to maintain the confidentiality of such information by signing a declaration to that effect.

Not with standing the above, we are aware that no electronic transmission over the internet or information storage technology can be guaranteed to be 100% secure. UpGrowth endeavours to protect your Personal Data and transmission of your Personal Data to and from our website at our best effort, but all transmission is at your own risk. RETENTION OF YPUR PERSONAL DATA

UpGrowth will cease to retain any document and databases containing your Personal Data by destroying and/or deleting your Personal Data as soon as it is reasonable to assume that it is no longer required for the purpose for which it was collected and/or as outlined in this Privacy Policy unless a longer retention period is required by law or where there are requirements by other legal provisions (such as for tax, accounting or other legal requirements).

You may contact UpGrowth and request for your Personal Data provided to be updated and/or corrected if the data is inaccurate, incomplete and/or misleading. You may request to withdraw the Consent granted previously at any point of time if it no longer serves the purpose for which it was collected.

CHANGES/AMENDMENTS TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY

This Privacy Policy may be subject to occasional updates & revisions. If we make any significant changes to this Privacy Policy, we will provide a more prominent notice of the changes either by prominently posting a notice of such changes on the website or by directly sending you an email notification.
